Dr. Tami Pollak is a senior clinical social worker, therapist and supervisor at the Shaked Multidisciplinary Day-care Center for Young Children Diagnosed with Autistic Spectrum Disorders in Holon, Israel and in private practice in Tel Aviv. She teaches in the ‘Primitive Mental States’ advanced track of studies in the Program of Psychotherapy, Sackler Faculty of Medicine, Tel-Aviv University. Her Ph.D in Philosophy is on The Role of the Body in Psychoanalytic Object Relation Theory in Light of Merleau-Ponty Phenomenology. She is the editor of the book: Pollak T. (2017). “Treating Children with Autistic Spectrum Disorders: A Psychoanalytic and Developmental Approach”, N.Y.: Routledge, where she wrote two chapters.
